You Are My Human

I know you tell people I ‘m your dog, but that’s not how I see it. You are my Human. You think you chose me, but I really chose you. I knew I wanted to take a chance on you. When I was born as a dog, I knew my purpose was to teach my Human the meaning of Love. My Human is my World. I promise undying love, devotion, and loyalty until my last breath. If I have done my job well, on that day my Human will be holding my paw, telling me I’m their very best dog, and they love me.

So I choose you. I believe you can learn from me. When you see my tail wagging furiously as you walk in the door, you are learning how much I missed you and how important you are to me. If I do this well, you’ll realize how much you miss me too and can’t wait to come home to see my furry face.

I don’t expect you to be perfect. We all make mistakes, but if you are open to learning with me, we will have a joyous time together making fun, happy memories.

All you have to do is look into my eyes. You will see my love has no bounds. I exist for you. I can sleep for hours waiting for you to return home to me. I savor those few moments when we are together.

I understand what it means to love. Your needs matter most. So cherish our time together. Every moment we share is meaningful. I wish I could live longer, but if I am successful, you will not need your entire lifetime to learn how to love.
